Where are your factories located?▾
JY&T is based in Taiwan and works with a network of partner factories. We manage development, sourcing, and on-site quality control across these partners.
Which brands have you worked with?▾
We have produced sandals and footwear for leading global surf and lifestyle brands across more than four decades. US customs records show our shipments to American brands continuously since 2007. We are happy to share specific references in direct conversation.
Do you offer OEM and ODM services?▾
Yes. We handle both OEM (manufacturing to your design) and ODM (developing new products with you from concept to production).
What is your minimum order quantity?▾
Minimum order quantity depends on the product, construction, and factory. We are flexible and work with each brand to suit their stage, from a first launch to established production. Send us your design and we will confirm the right quantity for it.
What materials can you make sandals and footwear in?▾
We work across the full range of sandal and footwear materials and help you choose the right combination for your design, price point, and market:
Straps & uppers — leather (full-grain, suede, nubuck), synthetic and PU leather, and woven webbing in nylon, polyester, and canvas
Soles & footbeds — EVA (molded and compression/Phylon), natural rubber and SBR, Rubalon for hard-wearing outsoles, TPR and TPU, PVC, PU foam, cork, jute, and hemp
Sustainable choices — vegan pineapple-leaf leather made in Taiwan (PETA-certified), plus recycled rubber, recycled EVA, and rPET on request

Do you offer vegan materials?▾
Yes. Beyond animal-free basics such as EVA, rubber, and canvas, we offer vegan pineapple-leaf leather — produced in Taiwan from discarded pineapple leaves and PETA-certified — as well as synthetic and PU leather, and recycled materials such as recycled rubber, recycled EVA, and rPET. We can build a fully vegan sandal from strap to sole.
What are your lead times?▾
Lead times depend on the product, materials, and factory schedule. Get in touch with your project and we will give you a realistic timeline for sampling and production.
Can you help develop a new product from scratch?▾
Yes. Many of our partners come to us with only an idea. We help with construction, materials, sampling, and finding the right factory to produce it.
